Rational

My design began from the idea of repetition. I wanted to create an environment that could be moved through as well as having moving parts. I used transparent colours for the 2 outside tunnels and the inner tunnel  was textured with my own pattern and is a solid pattern rather than transparent. Thinking about the animation, as you move through and around the model you can see through to the other faces and pattern of the solid inner tunnel. I intend to animate the tunnels to move separately from each other as well, moving through each other.  I used greenbecause I wanted to use a fresh, organic colour that would nicely complement the black and white pattern.
